David brings both a business and marketing background to Signature Green. His work and consulting experience span multiple industries, environmental organizations and politics. A Brown University graduate, David began his career as a speechwriter for a Fortune 500 company and was subsequently appointed as Director of Public Affairs for the White House Conference on Small Business, where he directed media relations and the presentation of financial and regulatory issues facing start-up and midcap companies across the country.
Having launched his own successful marketing and business development company in 1989, David has worked with numerous corporate and growing businesses in developing and presenting their value messaging to a wide range of audiences. His clients included PepsiCo International, American Express, The Broadcaster’s Foundation, Cannondale Bikes, The Liberty Science Center and others.
Today, David’ focus is on supporting sustainable and healthy-product businesses. He maintains high-level relationships in the business and investment communities and within environmental groups, the entertainment industry and the media.

An award-winning journalist, Melanie is among a handful of publicists in the country with a national broadcast news background, having spent 10 years working as a news reporter, producer, and assignment editor in radio and television. Her work on CNN’s National Desk included organizing both ‘breaking’ and ‘next-day’ news coverage of many historical and international events, including the U.S. submarine-Japanese fishing boat collision, the JFK Jr. plane crash, the Columbine school shootings and numerous historic events during the Clinton and Bush administrations. Recognition includes an Associated Press award for her work at National Public Radio and an Emmy for her contributions at CNN for coverage of the September 11th terrorist strikes. A public relations professional for more than a decade, Melanie has mentored a number of professionals in journalism and public relations. She has generated consistent, major media coverage for clients ranging from the national morning shows, prime-time news and business outlets to the newspapers, TV and radio stations in the top 25 media markets across the country, as well as on-line news sites, prominent blogs and trade publications.
Melanie has worked with clients ranging from start-ups to multinationals, as well as authors and inventors. Today her passion is focused on the success of sustainably-minded and healthier-product companies, including those in vegan and organic food, personal care products, organic textiles, and new, green technologies.
Melanie is a broadcast journalism graduate of Northern Arizona University and lives with her husband and daughter in Southern California.
